Job Description
The role involves supporting and leading strategic and operational initiatives within Palmetto's Business Operations team, including tracking performance metrics, analyzing data, preparing business reviews, and driving high-impact projects to facilitate company growth in the clean energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the tracking of performance to OKRs and manage metric data flows
- Prepare and facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
- Support evaluation of new ideas and investment opportunities
- Partner with Business Unit Leaders to analyze and unlock insights within their businesses
- Manage top priority projects by creating reporting mechanisms and surfacing insights
- Support the refresh of OKRs and ensure seamless reporting through scorecards
- Lead high-impact, high-complexity projects and resolve critical business problems
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as GMs, Product, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Data
Requirements
- At least 5 years of work experience in high-growth startups with a track record of using data to drive business impact
- Ability to operate proactively and independently, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and bias for action
- Deep experience in manipulating, streamlining, and simplifying large data sets into concise strategic insights, presented in a simple, visually appealing way
- Advanced data skills such as proficiency in Excel, Sheets, and Looker
- Experience working at an organization or within a business unit that experienced significant growth
- Comfortable operating in an environment that is lean and fast-moving
- Ability to wear multiple hats and adjust processes and systems as the company scales
- Ability to create structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Undergraduate degree (strongly preferred)
