Job Description
The IT Change Manager is responsible for designing and managing SOX-compliant change management processes for financial and critical business systems, supporting IPO readiness and compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate a SOX-compliant change management framework for technology systems supporting financial reporting and business-critical operations
- Manage the end-to-end IT change management process for SOX-scope systems
- Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, including setting agendas, approvals, and documentation
- Coordinate release calendars and oversee production deployments
- Partner with Engineering, DevOps, Finance, and Security teams to ensure change management processes are followed
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits and lead remediation of audit findings
- Train teams on public company change management expectations
- Roll out and maintain change management processes across the organization
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in IT Change, Release Management, or IT Controls
- Experience supporting SOX 404 audits
- Strong understanding of IT General Controls (ITGCs), SDLC controls, and ITIL principles
- Experience designing Change Management Flows on ITSM tools
- Ability to own the end-to-end IT change management process for SOX-scope systems
- Ability to design and maintain SOX-compliant change controls
- Experience managing release calendars and coordinating production deployments
- Ability to partner with Engineering, DevOps, Finance, and Security teams
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits and lead remediation of audit findings
- Facilitate Engineering Changes and train teams on public company change expectations
- Experience rolling out change management processes for organizations
- Experience with systems in scope including NetSuite ERP and other financial systems, revenue and billing platforms, core infrastructure, IAM systems, in-house developed applications and products, and critical SaaS platforms
