The Solar Landscaping and Maintenance position involves managing vegetation at a large solar farm, maintaining landscaping equipment, and supporting the daily operations of solar energy facilities, with potential training as a Solar Technician.
Key Responsibilities
Manage vegetation control at solar power plants
Operate and maintain landscaping machinery and tractors
Document work activities, including work orders and service logs
Maintain inventory and ensure availability of equipment and tools
Ensure high quality control of tools, vehicles, and materials
Requirements
Possession of a valid Driver's License
Ability to perform necessary physical activity, including kneeling, crawling, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 80 pounds
Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions such as heat, cold, and uneven terrain
Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands to dexterously maneuver small parts such as wires, screws, and various components within mechanical equipment
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Employment may require working on weekends and holidays
