Job Description

A Roofer's mate role supporting the installation of Solar PV systems across the UK, contributing to renewable energy projects and helping to combat climate change through sustainable technology deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on rooftops
Prepare and secure roofing surfaces for solar panel installation
Ensure safety protocols are followed during roofing and solar installation activities

Requirements

Experience as a Roofer or Roofer's mate, with a proven track record in roofing installation, preferably within solar PV or renewable energy projects
Ability to assist with the installation of Solar PV systems on UK homes as part of a team
Willingness to work across various locations in the UK as part of a nationwide installation team
Physical ability to perform roofing tasks, including working at heights, lifting, and handling roofing materials and equipment
Basic understanding of roofing safety procedures and the ability to follow safety guidelines during installation work
Good communication skills to assist and inspire customers and provide high levels of customer service
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
Commitment to working in accordance with company policies and health and safety regulations
