Job Description
A Junior Business Credit Specialist supports individuals and businesses by providing excellent customer service, assisting with resolving financial obligations, and learning the processes for collecting outstanding balances, with opportunities for training and career development in credit control.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals and businesses in resolving financial obligations
- Learn and apply processes for the timely collection of outstanding balances
- Provide excellent customer service related to credit and collections
Requirements
- Ability to support individuals and businesses in resolving their financial obligations and learning the processes for the timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Willingness to participate in a CICM Level 3 Credit Control apprenticeship, which will depend upon successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
- Ability to receive comprehensive training related to the role.
- Strong customer service skills to support customers effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work as a foundational member of a team within the Business Credit department.
- Flexibility to adapt to a role that may involve supporting collection processes and customer support activities.
- Willingness to engage in a process that may take up to 4 weeks, including chats with the recruitment team and stages of the interview process.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with the recruitment team and other stakeholders during the hiring process.
- Ability to accommodate specific needs or preferences during the interview process, if required.
