Job Description
An Electric Vehicles Sales Specialist responsible for managing B2C sales of EVs through customer consultations, focusing on the salary sacrifice product, and providing an exceptional customer experience to promote sustainable and electric driving.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage direct sales interactions with customers focusing on the salary sacrifice product
- Advise and support customers throughout their journey to purchase an electric vehicle
- Discuss customer requirements and recommend suitable EVs based on lifestyle and benefits of electric driving
- Promote and explain the benefits of the salary sacrifice scheme and electric vehicle ownership
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships to enhance customer experience
Requirements
- A genuine passion for customer experience and sustainability is a must.
- Strong understanding of process and the importance of customer service.
- Experience in managing sales directly with customers, ideally in the electric vehicle or automotive sector.
- Ability to advise and support customers throughout their journey towards purchasing an EV.
- Capability to discuss customer requirements and find the perfect vehicle for their lifestyle, considering the salary sacrifice product fully and the benefits of going electric.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and support career progression, continuous learning, and personal development.
- Based in or willing to work in Weybridge, with availability to work at the office 3 days a week.
- Ability to communicate effectively as the face and voice of Octopus Electric Vehicles to customers.
- Understanding of the electric vehicle industry, the benefits of electric cars, and the salary sacrifice product (preferred but not explicitly mandatory).
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive customer experience.
- Honesty and empathy, aligning with the company's values of genuinely decent people.
