Job Description
An electrician role within Octopus Energy Services focused on installing and maintaining low carbon technologies such as electric vehicle charge points, air source heat pumps, and solar systems, with an emphasis on safety, customer service, and supporting the renewable energy revolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain low carbon technology systems such as electric vehicle charge points, air source heat pumps, and solar panels.
- Ensure safety standards are met during installation and maintenance activities.
- Represent the company professionally in customers' homes and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Proven track record of safety and customer excellence as an Electrician
- Experience in installing, maintaining, or repairing low carbon technology such as Electric Vehicle charge points, Air Source Heat Pumps, or Solar systems
- Ability to represent the company's brand professionally in customers' homes, serving as the first face-to-face contact with customers
- Willingness to work across various locations in England, applying only for the role and location most suitable for the candidate
- Ability to complete an online blended assessment consisting of multiple-choice questions and three short video interview questions
- Availability to participate in an in-person recruitment event if selected after the assessment
- Ability to demonstrate honesty and empathy, aligning with the company's values
- Ability to work in an inclusive environment and adhere to equal opportunity principles
