Job Description
An Analytics Engineer responsible for managing and building data pipelines, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, and establishing best practices to support decision-making and efficiency across the EV charging platform at Octopus Electroverse.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and own the end-to-end data pipeline, including establishing best practices and creating automated data pipelines.
- Transform complex datasets such as charge point telemetry, user behavior, marketing campaigns, sales figures, and operational metrics into actionable insights.
- Present data findings to support decision-making and enhance operational efficiency across the business.
- Build and shape the foundational framework for the company's data function to enable effective data utilization.
Requirements
- Experience with managing and building end-to-end data pipelines, including establishing best practices and creating automated pipelines.
- Proficiency in transforming complex datasets into strategic insights to support decision-making across the business.
- Ability to work with a variety of datasets, including charge point telemetry, user behaviour, marketing campaigns, sales figures, and operational metrics.
- Experience in shaping the foundational framework for data leverage and building the data function within a high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of data management, data transformation, and data presentation techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to uncover actionable insights from data to enhance efficiency and guide strategic decisions.
- Experience working as a data professional, such as a data engineer, analytics engineer, or similar role, with a focus on data pipeline ownership.
- Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of data-related projects and pipelines.
