Job Description
Nuro is seeking a Technical Recruiter to identify, engage, and hire top-tier engineering talent across infrastructure and data platforms, supporting the company's AI-driven autonomous vehicle technology and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle technical recruiting process, including sourcing, driving searches, and closing offers.
- Partner with engineering leaders to shape hiring strategies and define role profiles.
- Use data and analytics to influence hiring decisions and improve recruiting efficiency.
- Assess technical skills and cultural fit of candidates to maintain high hiring standards.
- Collaborate with sourcing and recruiting partners to build pipelines and enhance recruiting workflows.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of in-house technical recruiting experience at high-growth technology companies or start-ups, ideally with a focus on infrastructure or platform engineering.
- Experience managing the full-cycle technical recruiting process, including top-of-funnel strategy, proactive sourcing, driving searches, leading offers, and closing.
- Ability to partner with engineering leaders across ML Infrastructure, Data Platform, Developer Productivity, and Core Infrastructure to shape hiring strategy, define role profiles, and ensure a highly effective and structured interview process.
- Experience using data and analytics to influence hiring decisions, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve recruiting velocity and quality.
- Ability to assess both technical strength and cultural alignment to maintain a high hiring bar and ensure each hire elevates the team.
- Experience collaborating with sourcing and recruiting partners to build strong pipelines, implement new tools and workflows, and increase recruiting efficiency.
- Ability to identify and engage deeply technical, high-caliber talent without relying on job boards or databases, demonstrating a creative and proactive sourcing approach.
- Strong communication skills to build trust quickly with candidates and hiring partners.
- Highly self-motivated with exceptional prioritization skills, capable of driving multiple searches in parallel with urgency and clarity.
- Comfortable partnering with senior engineering leaders and quickly grasping complex technical concepts.
- Operate with integrity, sound judgment, and a strong work ethic.
