Job Description
Nuro is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and deploy real-time pose estimation systems for autonomous robots, focusing on sensor fusion, algorithm robustness, and system integration to advance robot navigation in logistics and transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop real-time vehicle pose estimation solutions for mobile robots
- Research, develop, and deploy advanced pose estimation algorithms
- Analyze and evaluate the accuracy and performance of pose estimation systems
- Build and test well-structured C/C++ software on robotic platforms and in simulation
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on sensor selection and system architecture
Requirements
- You have a PhD and or Masters Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or related field
- You have a deep understanding of state estimation, probabilistic filtering, and 3D geometry
- You have experience developing pose estimation algorithms with sensors such as IMU, motor resolvers or encoders, GPS, etc., and sensor fusion
- You have three years or more of industry experience as a software engineer
- You have strong C/C++ programming skills, developing well-tested, safety critical software
- You have hands-on experience developing sensor fusion or filtering algorithms for autonomous vehicles, drones, or similar applications
