Job Description
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure for over-the-air software updates and fleet connectivity for autonomous vehicles, ensuring reliable and safe operation of Nuro's self-driving robots at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software for release infrastructure and OTA updates.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables across teams.
- Write well-designed, testable code adhering to quality standards.
- Track and improve performance of the release system by defining KPIs and implementing optimizations.
- Develop test and validation programs to ensure system robustness.
- Improve documentation related to system architecture and processes.
- Participate in on-call rotation to support system reliability.
Requirements
- Five years of industrial experience with large scale distributed systems that support workflow automation.
- Strong proficiency in C or Go programming languages.
- Professional experience in Unix/Linux environments and Bash scripting.
- Ability to turn high-level requirements into a detailed, cohesive system design.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for large-scale distributed systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
