Job Description
Develop and maintain real-time backend systems and APIs for autonomous vehicle ride-hailing and delivery services, integrating partner APIs and vehicle data to enable seamless and reliable autonomous transportation experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate ride-hailing products leveraging autonomous vehicle technology
- Process ride requests by integrating partner APIs
- Translate user actions into vehicle controls through vehicle integrations
- Manage real-time vehicle and trip status data
- Design and build reliable backend systems for real-time vehicle data processing
- Create and maintain APIs to support seamless product experiences
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science with 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Go.
- Eagerness and capability to delve into implementation details, driving technical standards and best practices across software organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to build, launch, and rapidly iterate on products, with end-to-end product development experience from requirements gathering and scoping to launch and post-launch iteration, particularly in the early stages of development from zero to one.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CloudSQL, BigQuery, or Redis.
- Proven ability to set technical and product vision for teams or projects, including timelines and prioritization.
- Experience as a formal or informal Tech Lead, mentoring and supporting junior engineers.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range between $132,000 and $198,450, plus annual performance bonus and equity
