Job Description
Nuro is seeking talented software engineers to work on areas such as data platform, simulation, or technical infrastructure to advance autonomous driving technology using AI, robotics, and scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the Data Platform for AI data, labels, and metrics, including data ingestion, annotation, and introspection tools.
- Build and maintain simulation frameworks, sensor models, and scenario generation tools for testing autonomous driving technology.
- Develop and support core technical infrastructure services such as compute platforms, storage management, cloud infrastructure, and engineering productivity tools.
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant industry experience in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field
- Must have strong programming skills in Python, C, or Go
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: large-scale distributed systems, data storage and processing systems, modern microservice architecture, machine learning, multithreading, x86 architecture and software performance tuning and optimization, robotics software frameworks, different compute modalities such as CPU, GPU, FPGA
- The position is eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package
