Job Description
The role involves designing and developing large-scale data pipelines, storage systems, and tools to support autonomous driving system evaluation and machine learning processes, ensuring data integrity and facilitating system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines for evaluation purposes
- Create and implement storage systems for large volumes and diverse evaluation metrics
- Construct dashboards and reports to present evaluation results and compare ML system performance
- Develop and maintain continuous testing and monitoring systems for data integrity and pipeline resilience
- Develop data mining tools using ML techniques to support data discovery in perception, behavior, and mapping
- Create data annotation tools to support labeling workflows for perception, mapping, and driving trajectories
- Scale data annotation labels using advanced ML techniques
Requirements
- A degree in BS, MS.c or Ph.D, plus 4 years of relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency in Python or similar languages
- Domain experience in autonomous driving or related fields
- Experience working with large-scale data and building scalable reliable systems data pipelines
- Ability to understand and design complex systems
- Engineering leadership experience including setting team or project product and technical vision, timelines, and prioritization
- Experience being a Technical Lead, mentoring and supporting junior engineers
- Technical excellence with the ability and willingness to deep dive into implementation, driving technical standards and best practices across broader software organization
