Job Description
The role involves designing and developing scalable data infrastructure and pipelines to support autonomous driving systems, focusing on data ingestion, processing, storage, and evaluation to improve machine learning models for self-driving technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale batch and streaming data processing systems for evaluation data.
- Create and implement storage solutions for large volumes of diverse evaluation and performance metrics.
- Construct dashboards and reports to present evaluation results and facilitate comparisons.
- Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to consumption.
- Develop and maintain testing and monitoring systems to ensure data integrity and pipeline resilience.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Experience working with large-scale data and building scalable, reliable data pipelines.
- Ability to understand and design complex systems.
- Experience in engineering leadership, including setting team or project product and technical vision, timelines, and prioritization, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Ability and willingness to deep dive into implementation, driving technical standards and best practices across the broader software organization.
