Job Description
Develop and maintain the backend systems for Nuro's autonomous ride-hailing products, focusing on integrating vehicle data, processing ride requests, and ensuring reliable real-time operations to support autonomous vehicle services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate ride-hailing products leveraging autonomous vehicle technology
- Process ride requests by integrating partner APIs
- Translate user actions into vehicle controls through vehicle integrations
- Manage real-time vehicle and trip status data
- Design and build reliable backend systems for delivery and ride services
- Process and transmit real-time vehicle data
- Build and maintain APIs to enable seamless product experiences
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science with 4 years of relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency in Go programming language
- Demonstrated ability to build, launch, and rapidly iterate on products, including experience with end-to-end product development from requirements gathering and scoping to launch and post-launch iteration, particularly in the early stages from zero to one
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CloudSQL, BigQuery, or Redis
- Proven ability to set technical and product vision for teams or projects, including timelines and prioritization
- Experience as a formal or informal Tech Lead, mentoring and supporting junior engineers
