Job Description
A Software Engineer responsible for developing and implementing mapping and localization algorithms to enhance autonomous robot navigation in logistics and transportation environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and implement mapping and state estimation algorithms
- Analyze and evaluate the accuracy and performance of mapping and localization algorithms
- Build, deploy, and test robust map software on robotic platforms and in simulation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define map requirements and needs
Requirements
- 2 years of industry experience as a software engineer.
- Strong C C programming skills, developing well-tested, safety critical software.
- Hands-on experience developing mapping and or localization algorithms for autonomous vehicles, drones, or similar applications.
- Deep understanding of state estimation, probabilistic filtering, and 3D geometry.
- Experience working with multiple sensors such as lidar and camera.
