Job Description

A Product Manager responsible for developing and managing data infrastructure and labeling systems to support autonomous vehicle development, ensuring data quality, scalability, and efficiency across engineering, operations, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Build visibility into data through dashboards that reconcile mileage, show collection coverage, and identify missing data
Define requirements for smarter data collection routing to improve targeting efficiency
Develop tooling to support scaling infrastructure across multiple vehicles and cities
Own labeling standards, approve labeling specifications, and establish quality thresholds
Design and prioritize labeling tooling improvements, including cost reduction strategies

Requirements

You have 5 years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to data platforms, ML infrastructure, operations tooling, or vendor management.
You are comfortable digging into data pipelines, writing SQL, and building dashboards or visibility tools when they do not already exist.
You can define a long-term infrastructure vision and also document acceptance criteria or audit vendor output.
You communicate crisply across technical and non-technical audiences, working daily with engineers, ML researchers, operations teams, and external vendors.
You take ownership of messy problems, are energized by ambiguity, and can build structure where fragmented processes and incomplete systems exist.
You ship solutions with a bias toward action and delivering working solutions over perfect plans, understanding when good enough now beats great later.
You operate at both altitude and ground level, capable of defining infrastructure vision and executing detailed tasks such as documenting acceptance criteria or auditing vendor output.
You hold systems accountable by measuring processes, identifying where they break, and fixing them.
You have experience building or managing data quality systems, labeling standards, or infrastructure supporting autonomous vehicle data collection and labeling processes.
You can develop tooling to support infrastructure for at least 150 vehicles operating across multiple cities.
You can define requirements for smarter data collection routing to improve targeting efficiency, reduce miles driven, and increase high-value data captured.
You can own labeling specifications approval, define pass/fail quality thresholds, and design vendor audit frameworks to ensure quantified confidence in labeling output.
