Job Description
The Mission Operations Coordinator at Nuro is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and optimizing fleet operations across multiple geographies, ensuring efficient deployment of autonomous vehicles, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule, coordinate, and optimize fleet operations across multiple geographies
- Translate operational plans into daily schedules and ensure execution
- Monitor and analyze plan vs. actual performance, providing insights on deviations
- Support fleet testing, data collection, and documentation of shift activities
- Respond to and troubleshoot technical, software, and emergency issues with composure
- Act as the initial escalation point for troubleshooting and emergency situations
- Coordinate and support on-road operations, including customer interactions and issue escalation
- Drive workflow optimization and automation initiatives within mission operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve planning and operational efficiency
Requirements
- 1 year of resource planning, allocation, optimization, reporting, etc. ideally in fleet management, autonomous driving and or robot operations logistics
- Ability to implement a schedule of operating times for the assigned shift including, but not limited to, working on shift rotations
- Ability to synthesize and work with data to drive insights into operations for other teams to leverage - comfortable with sheets, data studio, Looker
- Ability to work independently to solve problems and resolve issues
- Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment with a willingness to help out where needed
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain flexible with the changing needs of the business as well as schedule changes
- BA BS degree or equivalent practical experience
