Job Description
This role involves developing and deploying advanced machine learning solutions for perception, prediction, and planning in autonomous driving systems, working closely with autonomy teams to solve complex problems and improve self-driving technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Solve perception, prediction, and planning problems in autonomous systems using advanced machine learning techniques
- Develop and utilize efficient ML data pipelines
- Research and apply novel machine learning methods such as foundation models, multi-modal LLMs, generative models, out-of-distribution detection, imitation learning, and reinforcement learning
- Build and deploy autonomous software for public road operation
- Provide technical and people leadership to a large team
Requirements
- Have 6 years of work experience with an M.Sc. or Ph.D. focusing on one or more of the following areas: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Have deep subject matter expertise and research in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Robotics.
- Possess strong problem solving and programming skills in C or Python.
- Demonstrate deep expertise and prior experience in solving perception, prediction, and planning problems in autonomous systems using advanced machine learning methods, including foundation models, multi-modal LLMs, generative models, out-of-distribution detection, imitation learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Have experience applying and researching novel and advanced machine-learning techniques to autonomous perception, prediction, and planning problems.
- Build and leverage effective and efficient machine learning data pipelines for autonomous systems.
- Provide technical and people leadership to a large team working on autonomous software.
- Have experience deploying autonomous software to public roads.
