Job Description
This role involves full-cycle technical recruiting, focusing on attracting and building a pipeline of early talent such as interns and new graduates, while collaborating with engineering teams to understand their hiring needs and streamline the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for interns and new graduates, including screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
- Partner with engineering teams to understand their technical needs and headcount requirements.
- Develop data-driven seasonal hiring plans and forecast pipeline health.
- Collaborate with Compensation and Benefits teams to communicate total rewards packages to candidates and leadership.
- Identify bottlenecks in the interview process and work with engineering leads to streamline assessments.
- Build relationships with career centers, student organizations, and attend career fairs and hackathons.
Requirements
- Three years of experience in university recruiting or technical recruiting, ideally within a high-growth tech environment.
- A strong understanding of the software engineering landscape, including the ability to distinguish between specialized PhD research in AI/ML and generalist full-stack BS roles.
- Proven ability to collaborate with and influence senior engineering leaders and Compensation partners.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Greenhouse, to track metrics and drive decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to confidently engage with students, career centers, professors, and internal teams.
