3+ years of experience in opto-mechanical / fiber optics related field

Experience in optical alignment and assembly using fixtures, hand tools and microscopes

Experience in performing visual inspections with or without microscope

Experience in performing measurements using equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, thread gauges, and height gauges.

Ability to document and communicate inspection results in a detailed manner

Demonstrated ability to achieve result independently and work well with others

Great communication & computer skills, proactive, self-starter, great attention to detail and organized

Good understanding of engineering principles

Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and process procedures

Ability to recommend and implement improvements

Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestions for continuous improvement

Demonstrates safety consciousness and strives to address safety or process concerns when they arise

Detail oriented and a strong mind set in quality work
