At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a Compensation and Benefits Analyst to support Nuro’s total rewards programs across the company. This role will both help ensure our benefits programs are competitive, accurate, scalable, and aligned with the needs of the business, as well as support ad hoc compensation requests and support the Senior Manager of Total Rewards in day-to-day compensation-related workflows.
As a key member of the People team, you will support benefits administration, open enrollment, benefit review and selection, leave of absence administration, compensation analysis, recruiting offer support, and ongoing program audits.
You will work closely with the Total Rewards leader, Recruiting, HRBPs, People Operations, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders to provide data, analysis, and operational support across core rewards programs. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working with data, understands the importance of accuracy and confidentiality, and can balance analytical work with employee-facing support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, practical, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where high-quality execution matters.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Strong numerical reasoning and analytical skills with advanced Excel or Google Sheets usage, including formulas, modeling, pivot tables, and large datasets.
Experience supporting compensation work such as market pricing, salary ranges, offers, merit, bonus, equity, or leveling.
Experience supporting benefits administration, employee inquiries, open enrollment, vendor coordination, invoice reconciliation, or audits.
High attention to detail, strong judgment, and discretion when working with confidential employee and company data.
Clear communicator who has experience explaining compensation and benefits topics to employees, managers, and cross-functional partners.
