Job Description
The Senior Business Transformation Manager at Nexamp leads cross-functional initiatives to improve operational processes, organizational structures, and ways of working using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma, with the goal of driving sustainable, strategic change in a fast-paced clean energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end cross-functional transformation initiatives, including problem framing, current-state diagnosis, future-state design, implementation, and sustainment.
- Scope, prioritize, and sequence transformation projects aligned with enterprise priorities, balancing speed, risk, and standardization.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods to redesign workflows, processes, and operating models to reduce waste and variability.
- Analyze and redesign organizational structures, governance, roles, decision rights, and handoffs to improve effectiveness and scalability.
- Develop standardized workflows, governance mechanisms, and decision frameworks to increase predictability, accountability, and consistency.
- Identify technology, automation, and people-related enablement opportunities, translating process redesigns into clear requirements and change implications.
- Build and execute change management strategies, including stakeholder alignment, communication, training, and adoption metrics, to ensure sustainable implementation.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in transformation, continuous improvement, operations, consulting, or related fields, including at least three (3) years leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through implementation and sustainment.
- Strong expertise in process improvement and operating model design, including Lean Six Sigma methodologies, process mapping, root cause analysis, and clarifying roles, responsibilities, and decision rights.
- Proven project, program, and change management capabilities, including planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption measurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify root causes, evaluate opportunities, and translate findings into clear recommendations and actions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across audiences.
- Strong relationship-building and influence skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and drive progress without formal authority.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments, balancing ambiguity with pragmatic execution and a strong ownership mindset.
