Job Description
The Transmission Analyst Intern at New Leaf Energy will support the Utility-Scale Policy and Business Development team by analyzing data related to clean energy trends and market dynamics, maintaining data repositories, and assisting in research and policy presentations. This internship offers hands-on experience in the clean energy sector and requires skills in data analysis and visualization.
Responsibilities
- •Update and maintain project, transmission, and queue data repositories
- •Analyze and assess data using Excel and various data tools to identify trends and insights
- •Research and monitor transmission plans and proceedings
- •Create and maintain workbooks and maps for regional prospecting
- •Perform project-specific research related to RTO or utility plans
- •Support the creation of policy presentations, comments, and other materials
Requirements
- •Enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus on data analysis, computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or an equivalent related field.
- •Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrated ability to creatively tackle problems.
- •Ability to prioritize requests.
- •Availability to start in May 2025 and commit to a minimum of three months.
- •Familiarity with Excel and data analysis tools.
