The Director of Project Management is responsible for leading and scaling the company's project management team to ensure successful execution of solar tracker installation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality results from contract award to operations.
Key Responsibilities
Build, lead, and scale the Project Management team to ensure successful project execution from contract award through commissioning and operations.
Establish best practices and develop standardized processes for project management.
Oversee cross-functional coordination across Engineering, Sales, Finance, Software, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless installation and performance of tracker solutions.
Manage project governance, budget tracking, labor management, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and meet performance expectations.
Oversee Construction Management, Operations & Maintenance, and Field Technician teams to ensure project safety, timeliness, and performance.
Requirements
Experience building, leading, and scaling a Project Management function within a company, including establishing best practices and developing standardized processes.
Proven ability to lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering successful project execution from contract award through commissioning and ongoing operations.
Experience working cross-functionally across Engineering, Sales, Finance, Software, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless installation and performance of technical solutions.
Ability to oversee Construction Management, Operations Maintenance (O M), and Field Technician teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and meet performance expectations.
Demonstrated experience in strategic leadership and hands-on execution of project governance, budget tracking, labor management, and cross-functional coordination.
Willingness to travel at least 10-20% of the time for company off-sites, conferences, trade shows, site visits, and other events as needed.
Ability to mentor and develop a growing team of project management professionals.
Experience serving as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution and driving results aligned with company objectives and customer expectations.
