Job Description
The VP of Business Development for EMEA at Loft is responsible for leading the creation and execution of high-value sales strategies across Europe, engaging institutional stakeholders, closing complex deals, and managing the company's entire sales operations in the region to drive revenue and strategic partnerships in the space sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of high-value, multi-year commercial and institutional sales across Europe.
- Engage European institutional stakeholders and close complex, high-stakes deals.
- Manage Loft's entire EMEA sales engine to drive revenue across commercial and institutional accounts.
- Embed Loft's infrastructure into long-term programs through strategic partnerships.
- Negotiate key commercial agreements and support joint ventures or investment opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead the creation and execution of high-value, multi-year commercial and institutional sales strategies across Europe in the space sector.
- Experience engaging European institutional stakeholders and closing complex, high-stakes deals.
- Experience operating at the intersection of commercial growth and strategic customer engagement, working directly with executive leadership at partner companies, agencies, and institutional customers.
- Ability to manage Loft’s entire EMEA sales engine to drive revenue across commercial and institutional accounts.
- Experience embedding infrastructure into long-term programs, shaping strategic partnerships, negotiating key commercial agreements, and supporting joint ventures or investment-driven opportunities.
- Strong communication skills in English to collaborate effectively, convey complex ideas, and communicate important messages.
- Experience in the space industry, specifically in business development or sales roles within the space sector.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Ability to operate in an international environment and coordinate across multiple offices in San Francisco, CA, Golden, CO, and Toulouse, France.
