Job Description
The Senior Quality Engineer will lead the development and implementation of quality systems and assurance processes throughout the spacecraft lifecycle, providing hands-on technical leadership with opportunities for advancement into senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of quality systems and assurance processes for spacecraft lifecycle
- Oversee quality assurance activities from component procurement to launch readiness
- Provide technical leadership in quality management related to spacecraft manufacturing and testing
Requirements
- Lead the development and execution of quality systems and assurance processes across the full lifecycle of spacecraft, from component procurement to launch readiness.
- Possess hands-on technical leadership experience in quality engineering related to spacecraft or aerospace manufacturing.
- Demonstrate experience in developing and implementing quality assurance processes for complex technical systems.
- Have a strong understanding of quality management principles applicable to satellite manufacturing and space missions.
- Possess the ability to lead quality assurance activities in a manufacturing environment, specifically for satellite production.
- Experience in managing quality systems in a high-volume manufacturing setting, with a focus on space or aerospace components.
- Ability to oversee quality assurance throughout all phases of spacecraft development, including procurement, assembly, testing, and launch preparation.
