Job Description
The Satellite Software Program Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of flight and ground software for satellite missions, ensuring timely integration and milestone achievement across multiple teams to support customer contracts and mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of flight and ground software in support of customer contracts
- Coordinate across matrixed and independent product teams to translate customer commitments into executable plans
- Ensure software delivery aligns with assembly, integration, test, and spacecraft milestones
- Manage schedule, integration, and delivery of software programs
Requirements
- Experience leading the delivery of flight software and ground software in support of customer contracts.
- Ability to operate across matrixed and independent product teams, translating customer commitments into executable plans.
- Ensuring software delivery aligns with assembly, integration, test, and spacecraft-level milestones.
- Accountability for schedule, integration, and delivery of software programs, not just coordination.
- Proven experience in managing software development programs related to satellite or space systems.
