Job Description
A Software Engineer in the Ground Software Solutions team responsible for developing and maintaining custom ground software for space missions, supporting mission deployment and real-time problem solving, using technologies like Python, Django, and Kubernetes, with opportunities for spacecraft operation training.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom ground software capabilities for clients.
- Configure and extend Mission Control and Scheduling Software for specific mission needs.
- Deliver custom features to support mission deployment and execution.
- Ensure smooth operations by connecting product capabilities with mission-specific requirements.
- Work on real-time troubleshooting and problem-solving during live missions.
- Collaborate with product teams to provide operational feedback and drive product improvements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Experience with Django framework.
- Knowledge of GraphQL for API development.
- Experience working with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Familiarity with Cue language.
- Proficiency in C programming language.
- Ability to develop and maintain custom ground software capabilities for space missions.
- Experience configuring and extending mission control and scheduling software to meet specific program needs.
- Ability to deliver custom features to support mission deployment and execution.
- Experience working on real-time issues during live space missions and solving problems as they occur.
- Strong communication skills in English to collaborate effectively within an international team.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot operational issues in a mission-critical environment.
