Job Description
The Environmental Health and Safety Officer is responsible for managing all environment, health, and safety programs across Orbitworks' facilities to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace in the satellite manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all environment, health, and safety programs across production and office facilities
- Ensure workplace safety compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Promote a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment
Requirements
- Take ownership of all environment, health, and safety programs across the company's production and office facilities to ensure a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of environment, health, and safety regulations applicable to the manufacturing and office environments in the UAE.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety laws, regulations, and standards.
- Implement and maintain environment, health, and safety programs, policies, and procedures within the organization.
- Identify potential hazards in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate risks related to environment, health, and safety.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of EHS programs and initiatives to ensure continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety and operational excellence.
- Possess relevant experience in environment, health, and safety management within manufacturing or similar industrial settings.
- Possess a relevant educational background in environmental health, safety management, or a related field.
