Job Description
The Embedded Software Engineer will design and develop embedded software for satellite electronic payloads, working on advanced space systems such as in-space compute and RF communications, and collaborating with experienced engineers to bring these systems to orbit.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software for satellite electronic payloads
- Collaborate with engineers to implement software solutions for space systems
- Contribute to advancing in-space compute, RF communications, and software-defined payloads
Requirements
- Experience in embedded software design and development for satellite electronic payloads
- Proficiency in developing software for in-space compute systems, RF communications, and software-defined payloads
- Ability to collaborate closely with experienced engineers to bring embedded systems ideas to life
- Relevant educational background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields (implied, as standard for embedded software roles)
- Experience working on embedded systems that are launched into orbit (implying familiarity with space environment constraints)
- Proven ability to contribute to the development of systems advancing space-as-a-service technologies
- Experience with satellite electronic payloads and related embedded systems (implied from the job focus)
