Job Description
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a nuclear facility, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance, while leading a team and coordinating with engineering and corporate leadership to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the nuclear facility
- Ensure safe, reliable, and compliant plant operations
- Translate design intent, safety basis requirements, and operating procedures into disciplined operations
- Ensure operational readiness of the plant
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and cost
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and corporate leadership
- Maintain decision-making authority at the site level
Requirements
- Experience leading day-to-day operations of a nuclear facility or similar complex industrial plant.
- Full accountability for safe, reliable, and compliant plant operations.
- Ability to serve as the senior on-site authority responsible for people, equipment, and performance.
- Experience translating design intent, safety basis requirements, and operating procedures into disciplined operations.
- Proven ability to ensure operational readiness of a nuclear or industrial plant.
- Experience driving continuous improvement across safety, reliability, and cost metrics.
- Ability to work closely with engineering, maintenance, and corporate leadership while maintaining clear authority and decision-making at the site level.
