Job Description

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a nuclear facility, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance, while leading a team and coordinating with engineering and corporate leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the nuclear facility
  • Ensure safe, reliable, and compliant plant operations
  • Translate design intent, safety basis requirements, and operating procedures into disciplined operations
  • Ensure operational readiness of the plant
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and cost
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and corporate leadership
  • Maintain decision-making authority at the site level

Requirements

  • Experience leading day-to-day operations of a nuclear facility or similar complex industrial plant.
  • Full accountability for safe, reliable, and compliant plant operations.
  • Ability to serve as the senior on-site authority responsible for people, equipment, and performance.
  • Experience translating design intent, safety basis requirements, and operating procedures into disciplined operations.
  • Proven ability to ensure operational readiness of a nuclear or industrial plant.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement across safety, reliability, and cost metrics.
  • Ability to work closely with engineering, maintenance, and corporate leadership while maintaining clear authority and decision-making at the site level.
