The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a nuclear facility, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance, while leading a team and coordinating with engineering and corporate leadership to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations of the nuclear facility
Ensure safe, reliable, and compliant plant operations
Translate design intent, safety basis requirements, and operating procedures into disciplined operations
Ensure operational readiness of the plant
Drive continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and cost
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and corporate leadership
Maintain decision-making authority at the site level
Requirements
Experience leading day-to-day operations of a nuclear facility or similar complex industrial plant.
Full accountability for safe, reliable, and compliant plant operations.
Ability to serve as the senior on-site authority responsible for people, equipment, and performance.
Experience translating design intent, safety basis requirements, and operating procedures into disciplined operations.
Proven ability to ensure operational readiness of a nuclear or industrial plant.
Experience driving continuous improvement across safety, reliability, and cost metrics.
Ability to work closely with engineering, maintenance, and corporate leadership while maintaining clear authority and decision-making at the site level.
