• Be accountable for the successful execution of client implementation programs using our Build-Operate-Transfer methodology, which covers technology, operations and cultural transformation
• Find solutions that bring our clients into the new software and operating model that both accelerates delivery and reduces risk
• Develop deep relationships with our clients’ C-suite client executives
• Communicate effectively to stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
• Continuously demonstrate Kraken’s business value to the client and build a governance model which can last once the implementation program is completed
• Set the direction and pace for program execution. Managing internal and external expectations, removing blockers and making prioritization decisions to enable successful client transformations
• Understand the program details and report progress to both client and internal stakeholders
• Embody the Kraken ways of working. Provide support and feedback to members of the Kraken team and reinforce an environment of psychological safety.
• Proven track record of leading significant business transformation projects leveraging Agile principles, ideally within utilities or similar complex industries.
• Being able to lead software delivery engagements with our clients.
• Demonstrated ability to present and negotiate with C-suite executives, and to initiate strategic discussions.
• Pragmatic and effective problem solver, capable of focusing efforts on critical priorities.
• Strong client-centric approach with a focus on understanding and enabling client success while demonstrating the ability to manage expectations.
• Collaborative team player with experience working effectively across local and global teams.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills in both English and Japanese. You are well respected with natural gravitas and can navigate both business cultures seamlessly.
• Strong client and quality focus, with a proven ability to build and enhance customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel as required to build face-to-face relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Fluent in Japanese and English.
• Experience in the Japanese utilities sector is highly desirable.
