Job Description
A hands-on Product Manager responsible for developing and enhancing customer journey products within the energy management platform, focusing on enabling clients to easily change tariffs and handle compliance, while collaborating with a cross-functional team to redefine and improve the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an industry-leading experience for clients by creating products that enable easy tariff changes for supply points.
- Address complex challenges related to compliance and exception handling in the retail energy sector.
- Participate in redefining and challenging existing customer journey processes within Kraken's platform.
Requirements
- A hands-on Product Manager with experience in delivering industry-leading customer experiences within the energy or utility sector.
- Experience creating products that enable customers to easily change tariffs for their supply points.
- Ability to tackle complex challenges related to compliance and exception handling in the retail energy sector across the world.
- Participation in redefining customer journey processes and challenging existing expectations for product development.
- Experience working with a team of developers, including a tech lead and interim project manager, ideally in a distributed environment across European and Japanese timezones.
- Strong understanding of customer information systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, and AI-driven communications in energy management platforms.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment with multiple teams and contribute to long-term product strategy and vision.
- Demonstrated experience in managing product development lifecycle from conception to delivery, including prioritization and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
