Job Description
The Sales Manager DACH at Kingfish is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with distributors, restaurants, and chefs in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to promote high-quality, sustainable seafood products. The role involves lead generation, market research, and strategic sales activities to support the company's growth in the Horeca channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through phone calls, social media, emails, and visits to partners, events, and HoReCa.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline by researching and qualifying potential new leads.
- Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, chefs, restaurants, hotels, and catering companies.
- Organize and assist with special events such as tastings and chef events to promote products.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to increase demand and develop the supplier network in the DACH region.
Requirements
- Proven experience and network in the fish and or fine food industry, in a sales capacity, preferably focusing on seafood products to HORECA channel.
- Curiosity, passion and taste for fish and seafood.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
- Ability to represent Kingfish brand in a professional manner, and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations with potential customers, clients, and other stakeholders, in German and English.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Pack Office.
- Native German speaking.
