Job Description

A sales internship focused on supporting the expansion of Dutch Yellowtail into the high-end fish retail market in the Benelux through fieldwork, brand activation, and relationship building with luxury fish shops and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit luxury fish shops across the Netherlands and Belgium to pitch and promote Kingfish.
  • Follow up on POS Point-of-Sale material, coordinate delivery, test impact, and gather feedback.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing retail clients and identify new retail opportunities.
  • Engage with distributors to coordinate demand from the retail channel.
  • Analyze customer feedback and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Assist in the rollout of a sales toolkit, including training, leaflets, and QR-based recipe platforms.
  • Contribute to post-implementation reporting and propose strategies for scaling sales efforts.

Requirements

  • The candidate must be an ambitious and commercially driven individual interested in supporting the expansion of Dutch Yellowtail into the high-end fish retail market in the Benelux.
  • The intern must be willing to support sales strategy, conduct fieldwork, and participate in brand activation activities aimed at supporting and stimulating product turnover in premium fish shops.
  • The intern will be responsible for visiting luxury fish shops across the Netherlands and Belgium to pitch and promote Kingfish.
  • The intern must follow-up on Point-of-Sale (POS) material by coordinating delivery, testing impact, and gathering feedback.
  • The intern must be capable of strengthening relationships with existing retail clients and identifying new retail clients.
  • The intern must actively engage with distributors to coordinate demand from the retail channel.
  • The intern must analyze customer feedback and translate it into actionable improvements.
  • The intern must assist in the rollout of a custom sales toolkit, including providing training, developing leaflets, and managing QR-based recipe platforms.
  • The intern must contribute to post-implementation reporting and propose strategies for scaling sales activities.
  • The candidate must be able to work closely with the Commercial Director and Business Development Managers as part of the commercial team.
  • The candidate must be willing to participate in ongoing retail activation projects initiated by previous interns and build upon the groundwork already laid.
