Job Description
This internship involves assisting in the operation and data collection of a full-scale wastewater treatment plant at a sustainable land-based aquaculture facility, with the goal of optimizing system performance and ensuring environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect water and sludge samples at regular intervals from the wastewater treatment plant
- Analyze collected samples in the laboratory
- Assist in maintaining and operating the full-scale wastewater treatment installations
- Report findings and data to the wastewater treatment manager
- Identify bottlenecks in the treatment process and suggest adjustments
Requirements
- Assist in getting the full-scale waste water treatment installations running by collecting water and sludge samples at regular intervals, analyzing them in the lab, and reporting back to the waste water treatment manager.
- Help collect data to answer questions on configuration and operation of the wastewater treatment plant.
- Help identify bottlenecks and make adjustments where necessary based on the analysis of collected samples.
- Support in maintaining the full-scale waste water treatment installations operational during the internship.
