Job Description
A production technician responsible for overseeing the growth, maintenance, and harvesting of Dutch Yellowtail Kingfish in a sustainable land-based aquaculture facility, ensuring optimal conditions and environmental practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Dutch Yellowtail Kingfish grows in an ideal environment
- Clean and maintain systems and tanks
- Move fish throughout the farm
- Harvest the fish
- Solve minor disturbances in the production environment
Requirements
- Must be a resident of the Netherlands or an EU country, as applications are only open to residents of these regions.
- Must be motivated and able to join the production team at the Kingfish Company, location Kats.
- Must be able to work during working hours from 7:00 to 16:00.
- Must have the ability to ensure that Dutch Yellowtail Kingfish grows in an ideal environment.
- Must be capable of cleaning and maintaining systems and tanks used in fish farming.
- Must be able to move fish throughout the farm as part of daily responsibilities.
- Must be able to perform harvesting of fish when required.
- Must be able to solve minor disturbances related to fish farming operations.
- Must be able to work in a farm environment that involves handling fish and maintaining aquaculture systems.
- Must have the physical ability to perform tasks associated with fish farming, including cleaning, moving fish, and harvesting.
- Must be able to work as part of a team with colleagues from different backgrounds, ages, and nationalities.
