Job Description
The Aquaculture R D Internship offers hands-on experience in modern land-based aquaculture systems, where students will support research projects related to fish feeding, breeding, environmental studies, and system maintenance, working closely with a team of experts to advance sustainable seafood production.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the setup and execution of aquaculture research trials such as feeding, breeding, and environmental studies
- Assist with data collection, sampling, and documentation related to research projects
- Participate in daily fish husbandry activities including feeding, grading, and monitoring fish health
- Contribute to the maintenance and water quality management of Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS)
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and reliable research results
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an aquaculture-related field such as aquaculture, animal sciences, biology, or marine biology.
- Available for a full-time internship for at least 4 to 6 months, with a start date in early 2026.
- Hands-on, eager to learn, and ready to dive into the world of aquaculture.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Willing to work independently as well as in a team.
