Job Description
A hands-on internship position in aquaculture research at The Kingfish Company, focusing on sustainable fish farming using Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) technology. The role involves supporting experimental trials, data collection, fish husbandry, and system maintenance to contribute to innovative aquaculture projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the setup and execution of research and development trials related to feeding, breeding, and environmental studies
- Assist with data collection, sampling, and documentation of experimental results
- Participate in daily fish husbandry activities including feeding, grading, and monitoring fish health
- Contribute to the maintenance and water quality management of Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS)
- Collaborate with staff and interns to ensure accurate and reliable research outcomes
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an aquaculture-related field such as aquaculture, animal sciences, biology, or marine biology.
- Available for a full-time internship for at least 4 to 6 months, with a start date in early 2026.
- Hands-on, eager to learn, and ready to dive into the world of aquaculture.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Willing to work independently as well as in a team.
