Job Description
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for handling patient transactions, verifying patient information, managing inventory, and dispensing medicinal cannabis products at a dispensary setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle patient transactions and inventory at the dispensary
- Dispense medicinal cannabis products to patients
- Check and verify patient identification and registration information
- Enter drug history and dispensing information into tracking and recordkeeping systems
Requirements
- The candidate must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician or have the necessary certification as required by state or local regulations.
- The candidate must have experience handling patient transactions and inventory management at a dispensary or similar environment.
- The candidate must be able to dispense medicinal cannabis products to patients in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- The candidate must be responsible for checking and verifying patient identification and patient registration information.
- The candidate must be able to enter drug history and dispensing information accurately into tracking and recordkeeping systems.
