Job Description
The Manager of Commercial Analytics is responsible for conducting research and analysis to develop data-driven strategies that optimize pricing, promotions, and loyalty programs, thereby driving profitability and enhancing customer engagement within the cannabis industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis of product categories to inform merchandising strategies
- Develop data-driven strategies to optimize pricing, promotions, and loyalty programs
- Transform complex datasets into actionable insights to drive profitability and customer engagement
- Support strategic decision-making across wholesale and retail channels
Requirements
- Proven experience in research, analysis, and merchandising recommendations related to a category of products, with the ability to lead data-driven strategies that optimize pricing, promotions, and loyalty programs within the cannabis industry.
- Ability to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive profitability, enhance customer engagement, and support strategic decision-making across wholesale and retail channels.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies to optimize pricing, promotions, and loyalty programs in a fast-growing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and generate meaningful insights.
- Excellent understanding of data analysis tools and techniques relevant to commercial analytics.
- Ability to support and influence strategic decision-making processes through data insights.
- Experience working in or with multi-state cannabis companies or similar regulated industries is preferred.
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry, including retail locations, cultivation, processing, manufacturing, and online platforms, is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to present findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing duties, responsibilities, and activities as required by the company, with flexibility to handle evolving job functions.
