Job Description
A Windows Systems Administrator responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Windows-based systems, servers, and virtual environments within a classified, security-sensitive setting, requiring collaboration with a multi-location team and adherence to strict security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot Windows systems, including servers, workstations, and thin clients
- Administer software and hardware installations, file system management, backups, and user accounts
- Resolve complex system failures related to software, hardware, and network issues
- Monitor, evaluate, and optimize system performance
- Document maintenance actions and develop standard operating procedures
- Conduct routine hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with standards and policies
Requirements
- An active Top Secret SCI security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
- Must possess a DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification e.g., CompTIA Security , CySA , GICSP, GSEC, CISSP within 6 months of hire.
- High School diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in a System Administration role or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Experience in Windows systems administration.
- Experience working within an accredited system.
- Willingness to continue learning new technologies.
- Ability to work independently in a team environment.
- Physical ability to occasionally stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, and to travel up to 10%.
- This position is 100% on-site.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation salary range: 90,640 - 113,353
Work schedule: On-site, sometimes requiring evenings, weekends, and little to no advance notice
