Job Description
The Data Automation Engineer will develop software and database infrastructure to analyze semiconductor device yield data, improve fabrication process insights, and support quantum bit device development through statistical analysis and data visualization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop database infrastructure to store electrical measurement data, fabrication metrology, and device designs
- Create software to analyze and relate device yield to fabrication processes and designs
- Extract critical information and perform statistical data analysis using databases
- Communicate technical findings through oral and written reports
Requirements
- Experience with python programming and best practices, including object oriented programming principles, version control, data structures, and unit testing
- Experience writing SQL queries for large datasets
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and design of experiments
- Understanding of cleanroom fabrication equipment and processes
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics
- Experience in reporting and documentation of test results with emphasis on statistical analysis, data visualization, and trending
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor yield engineering field or Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor yield engineering field
- US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain US Government security clearance
