The EV Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing electric vehicles and charging stations, ensuring they operate properly to support electric fleet operations, with training provided by Highland Electric Fleets.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with customers to ensure electric vehicles and charging stations are functioning properly
Perform manufacturer-approved testing, repairs, and troubleshooting on electric vehicles and related equipment
Repair and maintain electric vehicle systems, Level 2 EV chargers, DC Fast Chargers, and communications equipment
Provide on-site maintenance and support for electric fleet vehicles and charging infrastructure
Requirements
The candidate must be enthusiastic about electric vehicles (EVs) and a self-starter.
The candidate must work closely with customers to ensure that Highland's electric vehicles and charging stations are working properly and that buses can get students to where they need to be.
The candidate must perform original equipment manufacturer-approved testing, repairs, and troubleshooting customer issues.
Highland will provide relevant training to repair all local equipment including basic electric vehicle functions, Level 2 EV chargers, DC Fast Chargers, and communications equipment.
