The Technical Chief of Staff will partner with the COO to drive strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional projects, and translate technical and data analysis into actionable insights, supporting organizational growth and operational efficiency in a sustainable infrastructure investment firm.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the COO in managing priorities, information flow, and cross-functional projects
Support strategic planning, initiative tracking, and execution of operational, technology, and data efforts
Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and board materials
Conduct analysis, synthesize insights, and communicate recommendations to leadership
Identify and resolve business challenges, removing barriers and anticipating needs
Manage meeting agendas, follow-ups, and action tracking for the COO's office
Facilitate communication and alignment within and across teams and corporate functions
Lead or support special projects and ad-hoc initiatives related to operations, automation, and process improvement
Provide hands-on support to critical projects across the organization as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or marketing
4 to 5 years of experience in management consulting or similar strategic analytical roles
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to craft and deliver executive-grade narratives from complex data
Advanced data analysis and visualization abilities using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and other data tools
Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience juggling multiple priorities
Highly proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset
Comfortable with ambiguity, able to learn quickly, adapt, and thrive amid dynamic, uncertain environments
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust and collaborate across all levels of the organization
Willingness to support strategic planning, initiative tracking, and execution of operational, technology, and data efforts
Ability to assist in the preparation of executive-level presentations, reports, and board materials
Ability to conduct analysis, synthesize insights, and communicate recommendations to leadership
Ability to proactively identify and resolve business challenges, anticipate needs, and remove barriers
Experience managing meeting agendas, follow-ups, and action tracking for executive offices
Willingness to lead or support special projects and ad-hoc initiatives spanning operations, automation, and process improvement
Ability to provide hands-on support to other critical projects across the organization as needed, serving as a nimble resource
