Job Description

A Senior Technical Recruiter responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes for technical roles in manufacturing and technology sectors, supporting the rapid growth of Gotion's advanced battery production facility in Illinois.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles including engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and technical leadership positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, HR partners, and leadership to define hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent through various channels.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of passive and active candidates in critical technical domains.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve hiring processes and outcomes.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process.
  • Enhance employer branding through external networking, partnerships, and recruitment campaigns.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or advanced technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully filling technical positions in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Expertise in direct sourcing, networking, and engaging with passive talent across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, with demonstrated experience in both volume and niche hiring.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity and creating an inclusive hiring environment.
  • Ability to lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles including engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and technical leadership positions.
  • Ability to develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies utilizing channels such as direct sourcing, social media, networking, and industry events.
  • Ability to build and maintain a robust pipeline of passive and active candidates in critical technical domains.
  • Ability to track and analyze key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate with hiring managers, HR business partners, and senior leadership to define hiring needs and develop role profiles.
  • Ability to ensure all recruitment activities are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal policies and standards.
