Job Description
The Senior FP&A Manager at Gotion Inc. will lead financial planning, analysis, and modeling efforts to support strategic decision-making, working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and business insights in a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on electric vehicle and energy storage technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build financial models and develop financial forecasts and budgets.
- Perform financial scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
- Analyze actual financial performance against budgets and prior periods to advise management on financial matters.
- Provide timely, detailed insights on business performance to support decision-making.
- Partner with leadership to understand macroeconomic and industry factors affecting financial performance.
- Research and analyze competitor financial reports and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to assist management in decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Master's Degree (MBA) is preferred
- 7 years of financial analysis and modeling experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Big 4 accounting firms
- At least 3 years of private industry experience
- Ability to analyze, prioritize, and execute in a high-pressure environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, Micro, Vlookup, Sumif, and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports
- Strong financial and business acumen with broad knowledge of FP&A processes
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills to develop collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams
