Job Description
This role involves building and leading a marketing and sales team focused on energy storage systems (ESS), developing project best practices, managing industry relationships, and negotiating contracts to support Gotion's growth in the battery energy storage market.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a specialized marketing and sales team, collaborating with technical personnel internally and externally
- Develop and implement best practices for BESS projects across various product lines
- Serve as a domain expert on BESS, reviewing and approving project solutions in collaboration with ESS partners
- Establish metrics and targets for continuous improvement in project delivery
- Track construction progress, identify acquisition opportunities, and explore new markets, reporting to the global team
- Participate in industry conferences and networking to stay informed on market trends
- Develop relationships with key technology vendors and negotiate contracts with customers, partners, vendors, and subcontractors
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Business Development
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, or other related field
- 2 years of experience in the energy sector, specifically Energy Storage Systems (ESS)
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Experience working in a startup or similar environment
- Global experience and an understanding of multicultural nuances that drive the decision-making process
